- Resorbable collagen membrane, derived from porcine pericardium
- Intended as a barrier restricting the entry of non-osteogenic cells within the bone defect
- Allows the ingrowth of slow-growing bone forming cells
- Bio-resorbable as it is remodeled and/or incorporated by the host tissue
- Substantially resorbed within 15 weeks after implantation
- Adaptable, easy to handle, can be trimmed to the desired size, and conforms easily when hydrated
- Terminally sterilized via gamma irradiation
